Archaeological Reconstruction –
\nFrom the dark spot to the wattle wall house<\/h2>\n

Nach dem Abheben der obersten Erdschichten finden Arch\u00e4ologen als dunkle Flecken im Boden die Reste der verrotteten Tragpfosten eines mittelalterlichen Hauses. Schon jetzt sind Gr\u00f6\u00dfe, Grundriss, Details der Bautechnik, die Innengliederung mit Feuerstelle und Eing\u00e4nge zu erkennen. Die nun gewonnenen Erkenntnisse flie\u00dfen direkt in die nun folgende Arch\u00e4ologische Rekonstruktion<\/strong> ein.<\/p>\n

Die dunklen Flecken, sogenannte Befunde, werden vermessen, fotografiert, gezeichnet und beschrieben. So werden die Informationen der rasch verg\u00e4nglichen Reste bewahrt. Durch die Funde kann das Haus zeitlich eingeordnet werden. Dies sind die Grundlagen der Rekonstruktionsarbeit.<\/p>\n

Alle verf\u00fcgbaren Informationen werden zusammengetragen, Vergleichsfunde anderer Grabungen hinzugezogen, Holzreste und Funde analysiert. Der Abstand der Pfostenl\u00f6cher zueinander, Tiefe und Durchmesser, geben das Grundger\u00fcst f\u00fcr das Hausmodell vor.<\/p>\n

F\u00fcr die bauliche Umsetzung, die Materialliste und den Bauantrag wird ein Architektenplan angefertigt und die Tragf\u00e4higkeit statisch berechnet. Gleichzeitig wird eine Liste arch\u00e4ologisch bekannter Holzverbindungen und Zimmermannstechniken erstellt und den einzelnen Geb\u00e4udeteilen zugeordnet.<\/p>\n

Nach der Vermessung des Bauplatzes wird der Grabungsbefund in Originalgr\u00f6\u00dfe im Geschichtspark aufgebaut.<\/p>\n

Das fertige Haus liefert wichtige Erkenntnisse \u00fcber die Wohnqualit\u00e4t, die Heizbarkeit, Witterungsbest\u00e4ndigkeit und Haltbarkeit mittelalterlicher Geb\u00e4udetypen.<\/p>\n
